Descrizione: The program, which is signed by Aglaia Mitropoulou, includes the film, which is based on Hans Ruse, in the context of the tribute to Anthony Quinn. Points out the influence on the film from Robert Flaherty's "masterpiece" NANOOK, and continues with the presentation of the story, which unfolds in the Canadian North. The Eskimo Inook, along with his cute wife and his elder mother in law, sets off to hunt in the glaciers. He is fighting to get a pack from fox skins, in order to exchange it with a rifle. When, after a lot of adventures, they end up in a village of White people, Inook will not be late to realize, in the most dramatic way, that the code of honor of the Eskimos cannot possibly go along with the Law of the Whites. The program singles out the "amazing" photography and the "wonderful" performances.
